Emma the GREAT

Ok well I thought it was time for a few Emma stories. She is such a dork that she is actually amusing!

Story 1 - I decided to lay down to take a nap. Being at work by 7AM is killing me! we have been letting Emma stay out when we sleep because she doesn't have any accidents in the house and she just sleeps when we sleep. So I am kind of already to dream world when I feel my hair being pulled. I open my eyes and I have this 30 pound lab laying on top of my pillow all the way across my hair with her head laid on my nightstand next to me. She was just sleepin away! so I put her off the bed and she looked at me like "why did you do that? I was sleeping good!"

Story 2 - Last night my mom had called and told me my dad was going to come over and do something to one of our gates. He has been helping us fix it. Emma had decided to go crazy in the house and had ran under this table in the living room, knocked the lamp off which then knocked everything else off. So I put her out back while I cleaned that mess up. Usually when we put her outback for that kind of stuff she stares with her sad eyes in. At first she was doing that but then I see her down on the porch a bit. I knew dad should be there by now so I looked out and sure enough he was there. Now Emma loves my dad because he lets her jump in his lap and he spoils her. So I was shocked that she wasn't over there licking him like crazy. Well I go outside and she looks at me, then across the yard to dad then back at me kind of like saying "do you see that?" So I walk a little farther and she gets down in the grass, butt in the air but head to the ground by her feet and hopes back and forth like she is protecting me. I get close enough so dad can hear me and I ask if Emma had came to see him. He said nope, I don't think she knew who I was. Well when she heard his voice she jumpped up out of her stance and darted to him and started licking him. So our WONDERFUL watch dog was scared but instead of barking and protecting us, she just stared. I feel so much safer with her! HAHA!

Bad news is, Justin is allergic to her. So we need to go get some allergy medicine or take him to get a shot every month. Of course he would fall in love with the dog he is allergic to!
There are probably a million more stories to tell, but these just happened yesterday! I am sure there will be more to come here!

I guess goofiness runs in the family - her brother is a complete dork as well!
